Maine’s newest protocols essentialy call for the code to be worked on scene without moving the patient unless absolutely necessary for 20 minutes (unless obvious signs of death) after 20 minutes without spontaneous circulation med control is called and resuscitation is either terminated or the patient is transported. the patient is also transported if at any time during those 20 minutes they regain spontaneous circulation.
